Health Authorities Advocate Early Screening For Prevention Of Cardiovascular Disease.

Dubai Health Authority, Emirates Cardiac Society and World Heart Federation encourage the community to undergo regular health screening to protect against cardiovascular disease

Campaign partners displayed a LED video on Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, to highlight the importance of early screening for prevention of CVD and the link between high cholesterol and CVD.Authorities urge the community to address the connection between high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, tobacco use, high blood pressure and the world’s number 1 killer, heart disease The public was invited to receive free cholesterol screenings onsite and view a video broadcast on the world’s tallest tower – Burj Khalifa. More than 1500 people took part in the free cholesterol screening
